Fran Love.!

Are you a business woman {unlike me}?! I have three adorable outfits I would like to share with you and the skirts are a {must have!} if you dress up for work. Unfortunately {but also fortunately} I do not have to dress fancy for work every day. I get to throw on my Jamba Juice shirt & tennis shoes and head out the door.!

The first outfit posted here is so fun and peppy! The poppy color skirt really "pops!" {no pun intended} out against the black shirt and shoes.
  • The skirt is from H&M
  • The shirt is from Forever21 for a very low price
  •  Necklace & watch from Francesca's
  • Shoes from Michael Kors {my sister was so kind to let me borrow them}
  • Purse also from Francesca's

The second outfit is more of a fancy one. I love the way the colors are {complete} opposites. Who doesn't love a little black & white?! Perfect for a work day or even cute for church!
  • The skirt from Target
  • The shirt {same as above} from Forever21
  • Vest from Francesca's
  • Shoes {same as above} from Michael Kors
  • Necklace & watch {same as above} from Francesca's
  • Purse {same as above} from Francesca's

This outfit can also be worn with tights - since winter is fastly approaching us!

The last outfit is a fabulous dress I won from Francesca's through #Franlove!! I was so excited when they told me I won some Fran love. It is a black & white dress that is cute with heels or flats. It would also look cute with a pink blazer.
  • Dress from Francesca's
  • Shoes from Target
  • Necklace & watch {same as above} from Francesca's
  • Purse {same as above} from Francesca's
I hope you enjoy this post and it is helpful to you! If you wear anything from Francesca's be sure to post it on Instgram and tag them @francescascollections and hashtag #francescas or #franlove. You could win some free stuff as well!!

Stay classy.

XOXO

Beauty Secret*

Do you ever wake up in the morning feeling so blah? Tired? Not wanting to go to work or class? ME TOO! And then to top it all off you have a HUGE zit on your face. Perfect. Awesome. Makes me feel so much better about myself. NOT. Well have no fear, I am here to help you with that :)

My {beautiful} friend Tiff sent me a text the other night saying "I have your next blog post!" along with a picture of her "beauty mark". Well what I thought was a beauty mark. It was a zit she had covered up with a little brown eye liner. It works so perfectly - and looks fabulous! So ladies {and gents if you would like} you will no longer have to put tons of makeup on to try and cover it up and look like a cake with tons of frosting. You just cover that little guy up with some brown eye liner and you will look dashing! And I think beauty marks are cute anyways :)

Now I am NOT saying to have brown marks all over your face. LOL. Please do not do that. You will end up looking worse than when you started out with the zit. And do not overdue it with the eye liner either. Just make it look real. ALSO! Do not forge about it. When you are out to lunch or dinner {especially if you are on a date} don't take your napkin and wipe your whole mouth and then smear the brown liner all over your face. Not sure how well that date will end LOL.

This is perfect and inexpensive. You can find brown eye liner anywhere. I got mine at Walmart for $2. Don't go out and buy all this expensive liner for beauty marks. And if you already have brown eyeliner then you are all set! I hope you guys love this idea as much as Tiff & I do. And if you use this idea you should totally post a picture on Instagram and tag me {emmadunbar}in it so I can see how fabulous you are looking.!! :)

Hope you enjoy this tip and don't laugh too hard at it - or me ;)

The "thing" for fall!

Ok, who doesn’t love a good scarf?! Scarves are like my “thing” in the fall/winter/spring. They can make any outfit look better. They are a great accessory and not expensive! I wanted to post a few of my favorites that I am excited to wear this year!

My first and most favorite is from H&M (& who doesn’t love that store also?!) It is navy and brown. It is an infinity scarf and extra big so it can wrap comfortably two times around your neck.Looks cute with a sweater, boots, and a hat! {exactly what I'm wearing as I type this.}

My second favorite is also from H&M. It is a tube scarf and just slips right over your head. {Very convenient}. You can get it in many different colors. Mine is a light mauve color. It goes fabulous with this jacket that I also got from H&M and it is so comfortable and cute! It can be dressed up or casual. Definitely worth a look at!

This grey scarf from Urban Outfitters I purchased last year for only $20. What a bargain especially at that store! The frills on the end of it add a little foo foo {for us girly girls}.!

Burgundy is such a fall color. This scarf goes perfect with leggings, a cute sweater, and tall brown boots. I got this at H&M. {They must have really great scarves ;)}.

Lastly, who doesn’t have a black scarf?! If you don’t have one you should totally invest in one. This one I got last year – it is from Aldo. It is nice and thick and goes with anything and everything! Come on, it’s black so it matches everything.

I tried posting the links for these in case you wanted to buy them, but I could not get it to work. Hopefully you live near any of these stores so you can purchase them because they are all fabulous and I know ALL of you could totally rock them! {Yes, even you guys out there ;)}. But hurry because the cold weather is on it's way!! (tear)

we are family.

I figure all of you deserve to know about my amazing family! I grew up in a Christian home all my life. There are 6 children in my family – my poor mother. She even homeschooled us all until we got to high school! This here is a picture of my family in one.

My dad is the leader of us all. He is so hard working and supports our family far beyond what is needed. He is constantly working and never quits. He is like a google, dictionary, handy man, and compass all in one. He is an avid coffee drinker. He helps every single one of us kids {and mom} in ANY way if we need it. He is very protective of his children and loves to send us a text “Where at? What doin?” when we are not at home. I will forever remember that lol. He is SO smart and knows everything about any school subject. He knows just about every person in town and vice versa. He has 6 kids that all played sports and only missed a game if another one of us had a game and he couldn’t be in 2 places at once. He has guided me and supported me in all my decisions in life. I would be lost in this world without him.

My mother. She is so crazy. She was born in Kentucky but grew up in Detroit and won’t take crap from nobody haha. She knows how to be tough on us kids {in a good way} and make us do our best. She has always been tough but I never saw her more tough than when she fought breast cancer the summer after I graduated high school. That was the first and last time I saw her cry. She is practically famous on ebay. She is SO crafty/artsy and has the most beautiful garden I have ever seen. She was the only white girl on her basketball team in high school – so she can ball. She taught me to love the University of Michigan football along with many other things in life.

Carlie. She is 2 years older than me and the best older sister a girl could ask for. She has been incredibly smart her whole life and won’t give up on anything. She was the student who would cry if they got anything less than an A in school haha {love ya Car}. She is always encouraging us and telling us we are good at whatever it is we try.

She married Brett a little more than 2 years ago. He is always tricking me into doing something stupid. He would be willing to do anything to help me in any way. He is a handy man and could fix probably anything. He is so wonderful for Carlie and treats her like a princess. So I guess he will do ;).

MARG! Basically my twin. My pretty pretty princess and my partner in crime. We are so alike in so many ways it’s not even funny. We have the same tastes in just about everything in life. We can talk about anything and make fun of each other and tell each other “NO! Don’t wear that, it makes you look fat!” She has a major sweet tooth and always has candy {that I steal}. She works in a boutique and is always dressed cute. We were meant to do life together.

Oh Dave. Dave can do anything. He is SO smart and talented. He knows practically everything that is going on in this world. He could do any math problem or talk about politics. He is a miniature Bob {my dad}. He can fix anything of mine that is broken. He takes great pictures. He loves the outdoors but loves to be fashionable as well. He is a one of a kind.

Little Bobby. Bobby got really tall and we have no idea how haha. He loves basketball and golf. He loves to hug me and bug me on purpose. He will do anything you ask him to do. He hates going to the beach because of the sand. He will drive you anywhere you ask him to. And sorry ladies he is already taken ;).

Donny! I will always think of him as a baby. He is the youngest and definitely most spoiled haha. Don is the biggest social butterfly you will ever meet. He is not afraid to talk to anyone. He likes to play sports and be with his friends. He loves to shoes and loves to shop. He is always willing to help wherever needed whether it’s church, school, or sporting events. He is the best.
That is my family! I would write 20 pages on each person if I could but nobody has time to read that. We are a crazy bunch and too hillbilly to live in our neighborhood haha.

Fall Fashion

Here we go! My first fashion post! I follow so many fashion bloggers on Instagram and I am still not confident that I even know what to write for this post. Share pictures and write words right? Lol just kidding, I know there is more to it than that.

Well my awesome brother David (freshman in college and single ladies ;)) is the one who takes a lot of my pictures and this post he did that and modeled for my blog! I was very excited. Then we took a picture together...with a timer on the camera since we were the only ones in the park lol. Here goes!

Here is my first item! I am in love with these boots! I got them at Maurices and they go great with anything. Leggings, jeans, or even a dress. They have a zipper (it's fake lol) and little studs on the side that add a bling bling. Also, the roushing along the top. {Is that even how you spell roushing? It is giving me a "red line" under it but won't give me a correct way to spell so this one will do}.

Here are the boots again with an adorable black sun dress from Target {one of my fav stores} that can be worn in the summer or even in the fall with a blue jean jacket or sweater. My sweater is from Old Navy. My scarf is from Urban Outfitters for only $20. I thought that was a great deal because I cannot shop in that store due to prices lol. And my fab bag is a 'Harper' from Francesca's Collection. It fits just about any thing you need any day of the week!
Here is Dave! Rocking that leather jacket like no other from Forever21. Scarf is Burberry. Jeans are by Levi. Boots are Red Wing and they will last for many years! You can even change the soles and keep the same boot top. They are a great investment if you ask me! Also, isn't he a great model on that Jeep Wrangler?!
We both had leather jackets on lastnight! Thanks to my wonderful sister {Margaret} for letting me wear her jacket from Michael Kors. And Dave's jacket is same as above from Forever21 and scarf is Burberry.

I would suggest any of these items to someone looking for great fall clothes! The boots are a great idea because they can be worn fancy or casual. They are also "buy 1 get 1 half off" at Maurices right now lol.

Happy October 1st y'all! :)
